COLORBOX SOCIAL MEDIA & MARKETING MANAGER – JOB DESCRIPTION

Colorbox Cosmetics was born out of a bold obsessive desire to create a brand where women from diverse backgrounds could enjoy superior quality products, without breaking the bank. Founded in the cosmopolitan city of Accra, the brand focuses on providing high quality affordable products that inspire all women, no matter where they are in their beauty journey to look flawless within their budget. The company has plans to build upon this success by appointing a Social Media Manager to spearhead growth with existing clients and new businesses.

Job Description:
• Generate ideas for and edit fun engaging content for social media platforms
• Building and encouraging online community engagement
• Generate and execute ideas to increase engagement and customer reach
• Create and manage social media advertising campaigns

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• Batch creating and scheduling posts on Facebook Creator Studio from templates (short 30 sec videos, reels/Tik Toks)
• Batch create captions/tweets
• Delivering excellent customer service in DMs and comment section (reposting client feedback)
• Managing competition entries and giveaway announcements
• Assist in organizing monthly Instagram lives and co-ordinating set content filming days with guests
• Produce monthly reports and personal insights to assess and measure company performance and reach
• Send weekly emails via Mail Chimp

Ideal candidate for this role:
• Have a keen interest in beauty and/or cosmetics
• Organised and Efficient
• Creativity, and in some cases digital-editing skills. You will also need knowledge and experience of social media platforms such as Instagram, Facebook and Tik Tok'
• Confident in delivering consistently excellent Customer Service
• Analytical
• Enthusiasm, interpersonal skills, self-motivation and flexibility
• IT and administrative skills, including word processing and research skills
• A high standard of written and spoken English
• Attention to detail, together with the ability to proof-read
• Time management skills, including the ability to keep to tight deadlines.
