Required: Vessel Procurement Coordinator

We Are Renewables is currently looking for a Vessel Procurement Coordinator for one of its customers active in the offshore wind industry. In this role you are the main point of contact for all procurement related questions from the vessel and docking team. You will serve as an intermediary between the team and all other stakeholders and ensure the link between procurement and logistics. You will be a part of an international team and you will be working together on challenging technical projects.

Requirements:

To be the first point of contact for the Vessel / Docking team for all procurement related questions.
To be the link between the Vessel / Docking team and the procurement department;
To follow the Group Procurement methodology and templates as defined by the Group Procurement Director;
leverage available Framework Agreements;
To be responsible for strategic sourcing of items outside the defined group categories with focus on TCO optimization;
To execute spot buys;
To coordinate procurement activities for the Vessel, during the execution phase of projects, for First Fill and for Major Repair;
To make sure that within the Vessel / Docking team the overall procurement process is being safeguarded by amongst others organizing the vessel procurement kick-off meetings, drafting the vessel procurement plan and supporting the setup of transactional procurement channels.

Desired skillset:

To hold a relevant bachelor degree;
To have at least 3 years of relevant experience or you are a pro-active fast learner;
To have good communication and team working skills;
To knowledge of procurement processes and tools;
To be fluent in English.
