Systems Software Engineer

We are looking for professionals for Systems Software Engineer position for one of our prestigious clients in Singapore. Our client is one of the world's leading innovators and manufacturers of creative video technology. The company creates software for advanced video editing, color-grading and visual effects, professional cameras, production switchers, broadcast converters and a large array of other products for the feature film, post production, and broadcast industries. They have offices in the USA, UK, Japan and Singapore. They are headquartered in Australia.

This is a permanent position for their software development centre in Singapore.

Job Description
Responsibilities:

Design, build and maintain efficient, reusable and reliable C++ code

Some of the aspects of code are:

Low level hardware bring up & drivers
Operating system
Networking stacks & protocols
Filesystems
High speed peripherals - USB 3.2, PCIe, SATA, etc.
Low speed peripherals - I2C, SPI, etc.

Educational Qualifications and other Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree or above in Computer Science/Computer Engineering from a top-tier university - local Singapore universities (NTU & NUS) graduates are preferred.
Stable job history
Singapore Citizen/PR
Applicants must be willing to work at their office on Robinson Road.

Required Skills:

Mid to Senior Software Engineer (3 to any years’ experience)
Strong proficiency in C++
Good Computer Science and Software Engineering understanding
Must have worked with multi-threaded code
Experience writing large projects in C++, designing larger systems

Domain Experience, ideally have:

Some low level experience – e.g. writing drivers, embedded or high performance code
Kernel or operating system experience
Video product development experience
