We are looking for an experienced Senior Software Engineer who loves building and maintaining a production service and brings his innovative thinking to help the team build or improve the company's product. We love engineers who are determined to learn along with refined feedback from users. One of the common traits with our engineers at BezoMoney is taking ownership of their work. To join our team you should be able to navigate different time zones. You should be a self starter with an eye for detail and serve as a mentor for other engineers.

Key Responsibilities

Ship high-quality, well-tested, secure, and maintainable code
Participate in discussions about project architecture and technical feasibility, be a decision-maker and explain your development approach
Collaborate with other team members to help address business needs while maintaining engineering standards and paying down technical debt

Qualifications

4+ years of experience in building backend javascript applications with NodeJs and Typescript
Build, modify and extend REST API endpoints for data retrieval and persistence.
Working knowledge of databases especially SQL, MySQL, MongoDb and database structures.
Have a deep understanding of system architecture and product documentation.
Ability to communicate with team members, stakeholders, listen to peers and customers.
Knowledge of design patterns and object-oriented programming principles
Should be able to use version control tools like Github and experience in deploying a web app to Azure or willing to learn.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with RESTful API built on the NestJS framework
Working knowledge of Cloud computing
Prior experience working in a fin-tech startup and building business-centre
