They are currently looking for a Quantity Surveyor to be based in remote location.

Duties & Responsibilities:

To manage post-contract commercial activities related to Architectural, civil, structural & FF&E with minimum supervision on a high profile project and reporting directly to a Senior Commercial Manager.
Price/forecast the cost of the different materials needed for the project
Prepare tender documents, contracts, budgets, bills of quantities and other documentation track changes to the design and/or construction work and adjust budget projections accordingly
Procure or agree the services of contractors and/or subcontractors who work on the construction of the project
Measure and value the work done on site
Liaise with the client and other construction professionals, such as site managers, project managers and site engineers

Qualification & Requirements:

Comprehensive 8-10 years of technical experience across all trades and extensive experience in weekly and monthly reporting cycles.
Use of Aconex, Oracle and Cost X IT Platforms an advantage.
Excellent relationship-building and interpersonal skills
The ability to work in a team
Attention to detail and a methodical approach to work.
