Accelerator Program Manager (Tech)

Department: Business Development (Tech)

Direct Reporting Line: Richard Mensah (DCEO)

Job Purpose: You would lead the Incubation and Acceleration Programs, including educational and training content development and delivery. Support the overall innovation and start up ecosystem at OA Technology. You would also act as the prime contact with start-ups, mentors, investors and stakeholders. Support other innovation initiatives and projects.

In addition to that, you will assist in the development and direct delivery of OA Technology work in stimulating and supporting growth strategies for Startups in Accra.

Job Description

Facilitate communication between mentors, partners, and OA TECH portfolio companies
Track metrics associated with OAs portfolio of startup companies.
Manage OA TECH online community platform (with respect to the accelerator) keeping content up to date and engaging with startups
Coordinate tactical components and logistics of the program
Perform other duties and special projects as assigned
Coordinate speaker resources and build presentation decks
Coordinating startup application and selection progress;
Management of activities required to support startups during execution of the programs;
Logistics of the accelerator program;
Assisting in the development of Accelerator program and syllabus;
Community building, active participation in the community nurture, an organization of events;
Methodologies - Improving existing tools, develop new materials to be used according to each program;
Processes - Improving the acceleration processes available for the creation and implementation of any Acceleration program.
Attending and actively participating in team and company meetings.
Meeting and exceeding KPIs as set by your Line Manager.
Adhere to all policies and procedures as defined by your role which will be communicated to you.

Requirements

Educational Background

Minimum First Degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Science, Arts or relevant education
An MBA or MSC in the fields above will be an added advantage would be an added advantage

Work Experience

5 Years Minimum in working with an excellent Tech Company in startup entrepreneurship, product & business development
4+ years' experience in working with startups, incubators, accelerators, or VCs
Experience leading and running incubator and accelerator programs, workshops, training
Experience in creating content for innovation programs, workshops and training

Managing and leading an incubator and accelerator team
