Being a Front-End Digital Designer gives you the unique possibility to follow the life of a new silicon device from paper to final application: you’ll contribute to the architecture definition and specification of new products, responsible of the micro-architecture of a mixed design solution, responsible of RTL coding of digital part of design, follow-up integration and verification activities, support prototype’s debug, validation and production ramp-up.
Cooperation with all core functions (Analog Design, Marketing, Product Engineering, Quality & Reliability) will be required in order to develop new products and to support their market introduction and commercial success.
As front-end digital design engineer, you’ll also collaborate with teams around the world with possibility to travel.
In this role it is important to keep pace on the latest technical solutions and technologies, be innovative and creative, take initiative and be autonomous, and work as part of a team of technical experts.

Responsibilities:

Writing RTL code
Writing scripts
Writing technical documentation
Coordinating and Reporting your activities
Work actively with product teams to drive performance, area, and power optimization.
Proficiency in CDC/RDC/LINT

Requirements:

Degree or Master from an engineering or equivalent level, with a specialization in electronics or micro-electronics.
Relevant experience with minimum 4 years in a semiconductor or high technology R&D environment.
You have strong on analytical and problem solving skills.
You are open minded with a good level of listening skills and enjoy working in a team.
You are rigorous, motivated and desire to propose innovative and competitive ideas for the development of new successful products.
You can keep up with fast moving new design methodology.
Good Experience in Hardware Design Language (such as Verilog, System Verilog or VHDL).
Good Experience in CDC, RDC, LINT.
Some exposure to Scripting languages (PERL, TCL, PYTHON).

Ability to interface with cross-functional teams from New Product Proposal to Product End of life.
Tapeout experience is preferred.
