Social Media Coordinator

Reporting
Reports to the Managing Director and functionally on a day-to-day basis to the Account Manager in accordance with the GRiP Jobs Organisational Chart

Hours
Flexible 40 hours per week and other hours as required to complete the required duties and tasks of the job role. Please note that public holidays will be respected where religious ceremonies / cultures are required.

Location
Working from home or GRiP Yangon office as required

Purpose of the position
The main purpose of this role is to gradually achieve database growth through candidate engagement, increase website traffic and by strategically exploiting all aspects of the social media marketing roadmap. The role requires a solid understanding of how each social media channel works, and how to optimize content so that it is engaging to potential candidates.

Diversity

The working environment is informal and it's possible for work to be carried out from home or from other remote locations. There's an increasing trend towards working from home.
You'll find that the work can be demanding as GRiP depends on finding suitable qualified candidates, and there can be significant pressure to ensure that the system operates smoothly.
GRiP understands the importance of teamwork, and the Myanmar culture of getting together and therefore you may need to work from the office once a week or as required.

Requirement & Skills

Proven working experience in social media marketing
Excellent consulting, writing, editing (photo/video/text), presentation and communication skills
Demonstrable social networking experience and social media analytics tools knowledge
Knowledge of online marketing and good understanding of major marketing channels and current trends
Positive attitude, attention to detail, with good multitasking and organisational ability
Degree or equivalent in Communications, Marketing, Business, New Media
Excellent English speaking, reading, and writing
An understanding of information legislation, such as the Privacy and Data Protection Acts

Duties & Responsibilities
The main Duties and Responsibilities of this role include but not limited to -

Build and execute social media strategy through competitive research
Generate, edit, publish, and share daily content (original text, images, video or HTML) that builds meaningful connections and encourages community members to take action
Set up and optimize GRiP pages within each platform to increase the visibility of GRiP’s social content
Continuously improve by capturing and analysing the appropriate social data/metrics, insights, and best practices
Liaise with the GRiP team to understand the company’s goals & objectives
You will make yourself available for training and team meetings as required

Time Management
GRiP use Asana as our task management and goal setting management system. You will be assigned with tasks and duties in accordance with the business needs and requirements. Your role is pivotal in the GRiP team, and you need to ensure that tasks and goals assigned are met and exceeded.
