We ARE Renewables is looking for a Civil Engineer for one of our clients in the green hydrogen activity.

As a civil engineer, you are primarily responsible within the team for a safe, efficient, and effective implementation of the project in the preparation phase. You will be mainly working from the office but can regularly be found outside on sites. You are the spider in the web and coordinate the implementation with the various internal and external stakeholders.

Tasks and Responsibilities:

Perform conceptual, FEED, Studies, and detailed analyses and design as per design basis, project specifications, design codes and standards.
Defines scope of works, for example for site preparations work, geotechnical investigations, etc.
Apply knowledge and skills to a wide range of standard and nonstandard situations.
Prepare clear and accurate detailed design calculations and analyses including design reports and procedures.
Manage own time to meet agreed deadlines and budgets and develop plans for short-term work activities in own area.
Optimizing and implementing the method statements;
Communication between site or vessel and the office;
Monitor the progress of the project, participate in coordinating activities in the field, optimize and adjust where necessary in support of the Manager or Superintendent;

Requirements:

You have demonstrable experience in the position of Civil Engineer, being involved in civil works and buildings;
BSc Or Master degree in Civil Engineering or other relevant degree.
Good knowledge of engineering software. Able to work independently.
Good working knowledge of English, both oral and written. Knowledge of Dutch is an advantage.
