Role Summary:
This client-facing role starts with accompanying the sales team on new business pitches, presentations and workshops. Following the discovery phase, the role then involves presenting a detailed strategic plan, before auditing the client's marketing channels and the existing digital footprint.

The engagement then moves into a delivery phase, but throughout the life cycle, the Marketing Strategy Consultant will work within a tried and tested methodology designed to ensure you deliver exceptional outcomes for the client.

Once the strategy and delivery plans have been created, they will be handed over to the delivery team but you’ll never be to far away, always available to steer the campaign or project in the right direction, if needed. However, your responsibility will be mainly at the front end of the engagement, discovery, strategy, audit, and implementation!

The Progression / Levels:
This role is designed for confident, outgoing marketing executives and managers that love the idea of creating a holistic marketing strategy and plan, and then working collaboratively with an awesome team of marketing specialists to deliver it. The team of specialists work in every component part of the marketing mix. However, the Marketing Strategy Consultant is the ‘glue’ that sticks everything together and is ultimately the ‘Project Lead’, before finally handing the customer relationship back to the Account Management team.

There are five levels of position in the team, allowing you to work your way up. Through our discussions, we’ll soon be able to identify where you’d be best placed.

Junior Marketing Executives / Account Managers - up to 24 months of experience
Marketing Strategy Executives - 24 to 48 months of experience - VACANCY
Marketing Strategy Consultants 48 months plus - VACANCY
Lead Marketing Strategy Consultants
Marketing Squad Leader

Progression
Upon joining, the Marketing Consultant will be trained on the strategy methodology and given insights and knowledge in the areas in which they are most weak. For example, if you ‘major’ in say content marketing but need support in SEO, you’ll get to spend time with the SEO team to ensure you gain the right level of understanding for each level of role.

In time, you will build knowledge in every area, in order to create an integrated enterprise strategy that delivers results. As you become more experienced you will be allocated larger higher value customer assignments with more complexity. You will then work autonomously, taking the lead on multiple projects, alongside a more commercial outlook.

End Game: Eventually, they’ll be allocated a squad to lead and become a Marketing Squad Leader, so huge career progression is available! With this in mind, we’re looking for ‘future leaders
