Are you an experienced Data PM/Analyst with a passion for Financial Services?

We are looking for an articulate, self-starting Data PM/Analyst with experience working with Financial Services systems and data. Our ideal candidate will have 7+ years of experience and have previously held similar, mid-level positions in FS industry organisations, although we will consider candidates with an exceptional experience from other industries (fintech, telco etc.).

Data Analysis:
-Data Gathering
-Data Querying
-Data Cleansing & Preparation
-Data Visualisation & Analytics

Project Management:
-Requirements Gathering & Scope Definition
-Project Planning
-RAID Management
-Status Reports
-Steering Committee Management

Experience should include the use of technology platforms that support the above data-centric skillsets – examples include: Cloud (Amazon RDS, Snowflake, Redshift), Informatica, Talend, PowerBI, Qlik, Tableau and a high degree of competencies in the use and manipulation of Excel Spreadsheets in support of data wrangling activities. PM technology platforms include Teams & Sharepoint, Powerpoint, and Project Planning Tools.

Soft Skills:

We are looking for candidates who have research skills, the ability to navigate complex datasets using proven frameworks and processes; the ability to work dynamically with key stakeholders and demonstrate progress against a plan; have strong written and verbal communication skills; the ability to collaborate with a broader team and demonstrate a ‘can do’ attitude.

Domain Expertise:

Financial Services – Front Office, Middle Office, Surveillance.

Responsibilities:

-Data Discovery
-Creating Artefacts pertaining to Project Management – Plans, RAID, Steering, Status
-Creating Artefacts pertaining to data solution – option Paper, Solution Arch, Future State Document
-Responsible for the day-to-day management of in-flight projects
-Comms related to projects
-Liaise with management for issue remediation, risk mitigation, and dependencies.
