Position: Receptionist / Administrative Assistant

Job Description:
In this position, you will assist with a variety of administrative duties. These include but are not limited to:

Answering calls

You will be required to answer the phone in a professional manner and make a note of the clients that call and pass the information on to the relevant person.

Following up with SARS on client cases

This requires one to call SARS with issues relating to clients and make notes on the progress of these issues until it is resolved.

Client invoicing & Quotes

This includes adding new client information on to Sage, sending clients quotes and invoicing clients once quotes are accepted.

Set up appointments

This includes setting up online appointments with SARS, appointments for new and existing clients, and interviews for new employees.

Update client files

Maintain client information records
Filing assistance
This involves sorting through supplier slips and filing it in the relevant files, adding new client documents in their respective folders, and creating folders for new clients.

Processing CIPC returns

You will be required to acknowledge and keep a record of the dates for CIPC returns for clients. In addition, you will be required to process and complete the CIPC return for each client.

Ordering office supplies

This would include all stationery, tea, and coffee for the office, and dealing with any packages that are delivered to the office.
