Junior Business Analyst

Responsible for evaluating and performing analysis of operations processes and identifying alternatives to promote operational efficiencies, cost reductions, and improvements.

Designs, develops and implements spreadsheets, reports, dashboards, and other tools to provide ongoing analysis of operational activities
Develops standardized and ad hoc site, management, and/or customer reporting.
Review operating procedures and maximize system efficiencies
Identifies areas for improving service levels, reducing costs, and providing operational enhancements
Regular communication with internal departments regarding operational issues, process flows, customer requirements, account-specific issues, etc. Includes analysis, insight, and recommendations.
Analyzes discrepancies and implements procedures to minimize them.

Technische context

Affinity with Logistics
Knowledge about Freight Forwarding/Logistics/Warehouse optimization.
Experience in data analytics and/or related experience
Accurate, analytically driven, Strong problem-solving, affinity with figures and commercial insight
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Experience in data preparation, analysis, interpretation, and getting valuable insights from data.
Identify trends with analyses, as well as recognize potential issues and offer solutions
Excellent planning, time management, collaboration, decision-making, organization, and presentation skills.
Ability to develop and document processes and procedures.
Proficient in the use of analytical techniques such as statistical probability distribution, correlation, data sampling, and relating sets of numbers.
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Power BI
Experience developing dashboards with Microsoft Power BI, Tableau, or Qlik;
