We are seeking a highly skilled and strategic Director of FP&A to lead our financial planning and analysis function, driving insightful decision-making and fostering business partnerships across our operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead Japan FP&A team, overseeing financial planning, forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis.
Collaborate closely with executive leadership and business units to provide actionable financial insights that drive strategic initiatives.
Develop and enhance financial models to assess business performance and support growth strategies.
Provide strategic recommendations based on financial analysis, market trends, and competitive landscape.
Manage the annual budgeting process and ensure alignment with business objectives.
Lead the preparation of presentations for senior management and the board of directors.
Oversee the production of timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
Play a pivotal role in business partnering by working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure financial alignment with operational goals.
Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs), identifying areas for improvement and growth opportunities.
Drive process improvements to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of financial planning and reporting.
Manage and mentor a high-performing FP&A team, fostering professional growth and development.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field. MBA or equivalent preferred.
Proven experience (8+ years) in financial planning and analysis roles, with at least 3 years in a leadership capacity.
Strong understanding of retail industry dynamics, luxury retail experience preferred.
Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
Bilingual proficiency in Japanese and English is required.
Nice to have: Proficiency in French.
Strong business acumen and strategic thinking, with the ability to collaborate across functions and levels.
Expertise in financial modeling, forecasting, and budgeting.
Excellent communication and presentation skills for conveying financial insights to non-financial stakeholders.
Advanced proficiency in financial software and tools.
