Advisor-Survey and UXO

As a technical specialist, you are responsible for the provision of expertise to UXO and seabed surveys at sea. In close collaboration with your colleagues, you ensure smooth UXO operations in 2GW program.

Responsibilities:

In this role you provide technical expertise for geophysical and geotechnical surveys, UXO surveys, and uxo identification and clearance works in German and Dutch offshore projects;
You ensure and check project documentation, data quality, and monitor changes to plans in all project phases;
You act as technical support in tendering, negotiating and contracting in the field of offshore survey and explosive ordnance clearance;
You coordinate and brief client representatives, control the works on site on the vessel or local site offices, as well as cooperate closely with all companies involved in a project on technical level;
You support the project management for cable installation with expertise on the ground (burial assessment) and in the documentation of post installations surveys, as well as final as laid documentation.

Profile:

This position requires an academic working and thinking level and a relevant university degree (Master/Bachelor) in survey, geophysics, geology;
Alternatively you have a comparable qualification;
You have profound working experience in the field of offshore survey, preferably UXO survey, offshore experience and offshore aptitude;
You have sound experience with ArcGIS or equivalent geographic information systems, preferably also Autocad;
You show independence, initiative, and the ability to work in a team. This is for you just as natural as strong communication skills and very good English skills. Dutch language skills are an advantage;
You are willing to travel.
