Job Description: Maintenance Mechanic

TOur client is currently seeking 8 Maintenance Mechanics to join our team at our bakery in Orlando, Florida. As a Maintenance Mechanic, your role will be crucial in ensuring the smooth operation of our bakery equipment and machinery. You will be responsible for performing maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on a variety of production equipment, including but not limited to conveyor systems, ovens, mixers, and packaging machinery.

Job Responsibilities:

Perform regular inspections and preventive maintenance on production equipment to ensure optimal functionality
Detect and diagnose issues with machinery and equipment, and perform necessary repairs
Conduct routine maintenance tasks, including lubrication, cleaning, and adjustment of equipment
Collaborate with other maintenance team members to troubleshoot and resolve complex equipment issues
Keep accurate records of maintenance and repair activities
Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area
Assist in the installation and commissioning of new equipment
Provide guidance and support to production operators regarding equipment operation and maintenance

Essential Qualifications:

High School Diploma or equivalent
Proven experience as a Maintenance Mechanic or similar role
Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
Knowledge of industrial machinery and equipment
Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics
Good understanding of safety procedures and practices
Excellent problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently as well as in a team

Desired Experience:

Experience in a food manufacturing or bakery environment
Experience working with PLC systems
Previous experience in the maintenance of conveyor systems, ovens, mixers, and packaging machinery
