POSITION PROFILE:
We are seeking an astute Director of Operations/Director of Engineering to oversee the holistic operations of our firm. A pivotal leadership role, this position commands a deep understanding of both the technical nuances of civil engineering and the strategic facets of business operations.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

Oversee and optimize operational procedures, ensuring adherence to best practices and standards.
Spearhead project management initiatives, ensuring timely and quality delivery.
Direct and mentor a dynamic team of 35+ professionals, promoting a culture of collaboration and excellence.
Drive business development strategies, leveraging industry insights to ensure competitive positioning.
Collaborate with senior leadership to define and execute long-term business plans and objectives.
Foster key client relationships, ensuring the highest level of client satisfaction and retention.
Oversee financial management, ensuring operational efficiency and profitability.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Surveying, or related discipline; Master’s Degree preferred.
Minimum of 8 to 15 years of relevant experience, with at least 4-5 years in a project management capacity.
Prior experience in a senior leadership role (Director, Senior PM, Department Lead) is mandatory.
Solid business acumen, with demonstrable experience in operational strategy and financial management.
Familiarity with streets, roadways, water management, stormwater, paving and drainage, water and sewer systems, and related projects.
