Job Description - Occupational Therapist

Job Responsibilities:

Conduct assessments of clients' physical, cognitive, psychosocial, and sensory capabilities.
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to help clients improve their daily living skills.
Provide therapeutic interventions to promote independence and enhance clients' quality of life.
Assess clients' needs for assistive devices and recommend appropriate equipment.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated care and maximize client outcomes.
Educate clients, families, and caregivers on strategies to improve function and manage daily challenges.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes.
Participate in ongoing professional development activities to enhance clinical knowledge and skills.
Adhere to ethical and professional standards of practice in occupational therapy.
Contribute to the development of occupational therapy programs and services within the organization.

Minimum of 3 years of experience as an occupational therapist in a similar setting.
Experience working with clients of all ages, including children, adults, and older adults.
Experience in conducting assessments and developing individualized treatment plans.
Experience in providing therapy services for a variety of conditions, such as neurological, orthopedic, and mental health disorders.
Experience in the use of assistive devices and adaptive equipment.
