JOB SUMMARY:

Assemblers build high value proprietary products as indicated by the blueprints/schematics. Assemblers follow drawings and use experience to interpret plans. Must be precise and accurate in completing electrical requirements of the product.

ACCOUNTABILITIES include the following:

Build electrical assemblies/projects on one or more product lines.
Uses common electrical assembly tools and related functions in an efficient manner.
Assembles and troubleshoots knockout boxes, panels, wiring harnesses and wire terminations.
Employs proper electrical safety techniques.
Applies wiring methods and materials to form conduits.
Demonstrates ability to read blueprints or schematics.
Labels wiring to make trouble shooting possible during assembly and for the customer.
Ability to properly read measuring equipment to verify part or assembly quality.
Use of electrical test equipment, including but not limited to: voltmeters, multimeters, etc.
Demonstrates familiarity with IFS and shop order structure/build sequences.
Checks and troubleshoots each electrical set-up to prep machine for customer buy-off.
Always applies lock-out tag-out procedures.
Other duties as assigned.

KNOWLEDGE/EXPERIENCE/SKILLS:

Minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent.
1-3 years of hands-on industry experience.
Electrical aptitude and experience.
Attention to detail is necessary.
Ability to work in a team environment

PHYSICAL/MENTAL DEMANDS AND WORKING CONDITIONS:

Work schedule generally consists of 40 hours per week, which may include on-call status, evenings, and/or weekends.
Physical demands vary.
50 lb. limit on lifting without forklift or assistance.
Must wear a harness if climbing >6’ off shop floor.
