Job Description: Blow Mold Technician

The Blow Mold Technician is responsible for operating and maintaining blow molding equipment used in the production of plastic containers. This role requires a thorough understanding of blow molding processes and techniques, as well as the ability to troubleshoot and resolve any issues that may arise during production.

Job Responsibilities:

Operate blow molding machines to produce plastic containers according to specifications and quality standards
Set up and adjust machine controls, including temperature, pressure, and speed, to optimize production processes
Monitor production output and perform regular quality checks to ensure product consistency and conformity to specifications
Perform routine maintenance on blow molding equipment and troubleshoot any mechanical or operational issues
Replace molds, tooling, and other machine components as needed
Collaborate with the production team to develop and implement process improvements
Adhere to safety guidelines and maintain a clean and organized work area

Essential Qualifications:

Prior experience operating blow molding machines
Knowledge of blow molding processes and techniques
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
Excellent attention to detail and quality orientation
Good communication and teamwork abilities

Desired Experience:

Minimum of 1 year experience as a Blow Mold Technician in a manufacturing setting
Familiarity with plastic materials and their properties
Experience in troubleshooting and resolving machine malfunctions
