5857 Engineer, Process Control / Automation

As part of our Alarm Management team within the Process Control Engineering group, this position provides Alarm Management support to Operations, Technical Safety, Automation and other work groups at the Plant. This position is responsible for the monitoring, management and optimiztion of our process alarms, with the continuous objective of streamlining the total number of alarms to allow our console operators to focus on the information necessary to best operate our facilities. Teamwork with TCO Operations and Automation consultants is required and necessary. Success will be measured by the engineer’s ability to transfer knowledge and complete work successfully with other TCO Automation engineers and TCO Operations personnel. The position primarily supports operations at SGP/SGI, KTL and 3GP/3GI (oil & gas separation & sweetening, sulfur plant, sour-gas injection), but additional TCO facilities are also supported as necessary.
