Wall and Floor Tilers Needed for Our Client in Australia

Our client is seeking skilled and experienced Wall and Floor Tilers to become an essential part of their team. Ideal candidates will demonstrate a high level of proficiency in tiling, with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to delivering exceptional quality. Your main role will involve installing tiles on walls and floors, ensuring that each project is completed to the highest standards of precision and aesthetics.

To be considered for this role, candidates must:

Have a minimum of 5 years of experience as a Wall and Floor Tiler.
Provide supporting documents, such as payslips, employment evidence, a valid passport, and police clearances.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare surfaces by cleaning, smoothing, and priming them before tiling.
Measure and cut tiles to fit around obstacles and on various surfaces and angles.
Use spacers to precisely align tiles and apply grout to seal the spaces between them.
Ensure tiles are installed flat, straight, and secure, with attention to pattern alignment and grout consistency.
Work with a variety of materials, including ceramic, porcelain, slate, marble, and glass.
Collaborate with clients, designers, and contractors to ensure project specifications and aesthetic goals are met.
Maintain a clean and safe workspace, adhering to all safety and health guidelines.
Keep accurate records of material usage, project progress, and any challenges encountered.

Qualifications:

A minimum of 5 years’ experience in wall and floor tiling, with a strong portfolio showcasing diverse projects.
Proficiency in using tiling tools and equipment, including tile cutters, trowels, and leveling devices.
Excellent attention to detail and a strong aesthetic sense for achieving high-quality finishes.
Physical fitness and the ability to perform physically demanding tasks for extended periods.
Proficiency in English, both verbal and written, for effective communication with clients and team members.
