Qualifications:

Holds a Bachelor’s degree; with Business or Accounting higher education preferred
At least 3 years of relationship management experience handling small to medium-sized corporate clients in a universal, savings or thrift bank or medium to large non-bank lender based in Metro Manila
Conversant with basic office technology and software including MS office, excel, and CRM (preferred)
Experience with core banking systems and/or loan management systems will be considered an advantage

Experience Profile:

Managing and originating lending relationships with small to medium sized companies (Php 50m – Peso 1bn annual revenues) including exposure to short term and medium term loan products.
Conversant with borrowers’ financial reporting, monitoring and credit underwriting procedures.
Significant exposure to small and medium borrowers’ eco-systems.
Preferred (these additional experience/skills will help you be successful) :
- Exposure to bank statement analytics
- Familiar with legal loan and collateral documentation
- Loan portfolio management experience
- Exposure to early stage and high growth companies

Job Description:

Responsible for sourcing and onboarding new clients and maintaining relationships with existing clients.
Coordinating on boarding efforts with underwriting team (credit analysts) and senior credit approvers, client meetings, site visits, evaluation of prospective customer and market, understanding and communicating clients requirements, structuring credit limits within institutional policies and risk appetite framework.
Coordinating data collection for monthly and quarterly monitoring of portfolio clients.
Portfolio growth by prospecting for new clients and expanding relationships with existing clients, predominantly early stage, and high growth companies.
Appraisal of companies for fund-based exposure and structured finance products as per credit policy of the company.
Performing detailed background reference checks on prospective Clients, including but not limited to suppliers, customers, and competitors.
Follow-up with internal teams for credit risk clearance, documentation, disbursement of sanctioned cases including documentation and security creation.
Manage a portfolio of clients via regular periodic data collection, analysis, site visits to clients facilities across Philippines with a view to ensure high portfolio quality.
