Business Process Specialist Finance ERP

As a Business Process Specialist Finance ERP you are responsible for leading functional aspects within our ERP system. The role of the Finance department is crucial, ensuring clear and accurate insights across our subsidiaries and at the group level. For this we are seeking a dynamic and experienced Business Process Specialist Finance ERP to join our multinational team based in Friesland, the Netherlands. In this role, you will play a crucial part in our international transformation program, focusing on ERP implementation and hyper care.

Key Responsibilities:

· Leadership in ERP Implementation: Spearhead the functional aspect of the ERP implementation, from defining requirements to ensuring seamless execution;

· Business Transformation: Collaborate with internal stakeholders to streamline processes, enhance operational efficiency, and gain a competitive edge;

· Data-driven Decision Making: advocate for a data-driven culture, leveraging insights to drive business performance improvement;

· Technological Innovation: identify and evaluate innovative solutions to enhance operational effectiveness;

· Vision Execution: Translate organizational objectives into actionable initiatives to support overall strategy.

Your Profile:

As a Business Process Specialist Finance ERP you will leverage your expertise in Finance and ERP systems to drive transformation within our organization. Key qualifications and attributes include:

· Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or related field;

· Minimum 5 years of experience in ERP implementations, preferably in leadership roles;

· Strong analytical skills and proficiency in leveraging data for decision making;

· Excellent communication and collaboration abilities;

· Proactive mindset with a focus on results in a fast-paced environment;

· Fluency in both Dutch and English;

· Experience with NetSuite or other ERP implementation experience;

· Background in finance (e.g., financial analysis, controlling);

· Preferably experience with topics such as VAT, intercompany transactions, and period closures;

· In-depth knowledge of financial processes and systems, with the ability to understand and describe financial requirements in relation to ERP implementation;

· Affinity with testing systems and processes and enjoying finding and solving errors;

· Interest in training users and conveying knowledge in a clear and effective manner

· Ability to bring others along in changes and motivate teams;

· Strong collaboration skills, with the ability to work closely with Finance teams and stakeholders within.

Responsibilities

· you provide day-to-day operational support for the ERP Finance work flow in collaboration with all stakeholders;

· reporting progress, risks and issues affecting progress to the Project Leader;

· you supervise all project management-related activities such as: fine-tuning finance requirements;

· you translate the processes into user stories;

· you take initiative and are decisive to keep up the speed in the process;

· you take care of the test scenarios for going live and support the Test Manager in creating, planning and maintaining the tests and to guarantee the quality.
