ICAP Executive Search & Selection, on behalf of its client, a leading FMCG manufacturer and distributor, is seeking to recruit a Warehouse and Logistics Assistant Manager, based in Limassol, Cyprus.

Warehouse & Logistics Assistant Manager - Ref. (5565/WLAM/ESS/CY)

Role Overview:
Reporting directly to the Sales and Factory Manager as well as to the General Manager of the company, the successful candidates will be responsible for ensuring effective preparation and distribution of products, aimed at the smooth operation of the supply chain and customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

Organize and execute orders efficiently.
Oversee order preparation activities to ensure correct and timely shipment of products.
Monitor stock levels and ensure product availability for orders.
Monitor and control the loading of orders.
Organize daily routes for distribution.
Analyze distribution needs and plan effective product distribution strategies.
Collaborating with other departments to coordinate activities and with the sales department to forecast orders.
Efficiently organize all company warehouses (raw materials, consumables, finished products, etc.).
Monitor stock levels and ensure proper storage.
Implement best practices to reduce search time and errors.
Performing analysis to improve inventory management and conduct regular stock level checks according to the set schedule.
Coordinate transport activities, including selecting means of transport and routes.
Oversee the progress of orders from placement to delivery and address delays and resolve problems.
Utilize systems and software to collect and analyze distribution-related data.
Understand trends and factors affecting product distribution.
Maintain records for orders, stock, and distribution and generate reports on departmental performance.
Ensure that storage areas meet security standards.
Implement measures to protect products from damage or loss.
Train and mentor warehouse and distribution workers.
Monitor performance and ensure compliance with departmental objectives.
Evaluate employee performance and facilitating development.
Participate in hiring new employees.
Manage tasks regarding vehicle fleet such as schedule maintenance and repairs.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Logistics or other related field.
Minimum of 3 years of previous experience in a similar position (Warehouse/ Logistics / Supply Chain).
Previous experience in a food factory will be considered as a strong advantage.
Knowledge of basic principles of the supply chain.
Familiarity with the use of warehouse management systems (WMS) and other technological tools.
Knowledge of SAP - ERP system software will be considered an additional asset.
Knowledge of MS Windows operating systems and MS Office applications.
Ability to design and implement strategies to improve performance.
Management and communication skills to effectively lead the team.
Excellent organizational skills and effective management of complex product preparation and distribution processes.
Ability to identify problems and implement alternative solutions.
Excellent problem-solving skills.
Adapt to changes and challenges.
Excellent knowledge of the Greek and the English language (verbal and written).
