Our client is a major tier 1 engineering consultancy with extensive experience in the resource sector. Their team plays a key role in providing innovative solutions to clients here in WA, as well as around the world, helping them optimize their operations and major projects. Due to their long history of successfully delivering projects, they have continued to develop their ongoing pipeline of work. Based on the current (and recent) market, there seems to be no sign of slowing down.

Currently, they are looking for a Principal Mechanical Engineer to work on their sustaining capital mining projects and an opportunity to lead and build an established team of engineers.

On offer is a long-term opportunity with a stable line of work to keep busy and the opportunity to work across Tier 1 mining client portfolios. Our client has not set a rate as they have found their rate bandings have not been applicable in recent months. As a result, our client values experience most importantly and is open to discussing rates. Working from home and flexible work options are also available.

What we are looking for:

Relevant qualification in Mechanical Engineering
Experience working on resource sector projects
Experience working on different phases of a project
Competent use of discipline specific software
Experience with materials handling systems design essential
Experience as a Principal Engineer (Desirable)
