Senior Purchasing Officer – Ref. 5592/PUO/ESS/CY

As an Senior Purchasing Officer, you will play a crucial role in clients’ supply chain operations. Your primary responsibilities will include researching potential vendors, comparing and evaluating offers, negotiating contract terms, and managing order details. Additionally, with the Purchasing Assistant, you will ensure smooth and efficient procurement processes.

Key Responsibilities:

Research and identify potential vendors.
Compare and evaluate offers from suppliers to ensure the best value.
Negotiate contract terms, agreements, and pricing for the entire company.
Enter order details into company databases accurately and efficiently.
Prepare comprehensive reports and cost analyses to assist in decision-making.
Maintain and update supplier information and records.
Monitor inventory levels and ensure timely reordering of supplies.
Collaborate with other departments to understand their purchasing needs.
Resolve issues related to orders, deliveries, and invoicing.
Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
2 years of experience as a Purchasing Officer or in a similar role.
Strong negotiation and communication skills.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and purchasing software.
Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Knowledge of market research and data analysis.
