Role Overview: As a Senior Architect (Technical), you will play a key role in the successful delivery of complex commercial projects, with a focus on technical design and construction phases. You will manage external consultants, coordinate structural and MEP information, and lead the production of detailed, co-ordinated drawing packages. Your ability to generate innovative design ideas, combined with strong site experience and technical expertise, will be crucial in ensuring the success of each project.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead the technical design and delivery of commercial and office projects, focusing on RIBA Stages 3-6.
Manage and coordinate design teams, including external consultants, ensuring seamless integration of structural and MEP information.
Produce comprehensive technical drawings, schedules, and NBS specifications.
Develop and present conceptual ideas to clients, using InDesign to create compelling presentations and documents.
Oversee site activities, ensuring all work is carried out to the highest standards and in compliance with regulations.
Research new materials and techniques, applying innovative detailing to enhance project outcomes.
Conduct and manage project meetings, effectively communicating ideas to clients and stakeholders both verbally and graphically.

Required Qualifications and Skills:

Extensive experience across all RIBA stages, with a strong focus on stages 3-6 in commercial and office projects.
Proven ability to manage and coordinate multidisciplinary design teams.
Advanced proficiency in ArchiCAD or Revit (2D and 3D), with a willingness to learn ArchiCAD if necessary (training provided).
Experience in producing NBS specifications and detailed technical drawing packages.
Strong presentation skills, with the ability to create and present InDesign documents to clients.
A passion for architectural innovation, with a keen interest in researching new materials and construction techniques.
Excellent communication and leadership skills, with experience in managing meetings and engaging with stakeholders.
