On behalf of our client, a modern, innovative, and transformative insurance company, we are seeking an enthusiastic and driven Senior Reconciliations Officer based in Nicosia, Cyprus.

Senior Reconciliations Officer – Ref. 5647/SRO/ESS/CY

Responsibilities:

Supervise the sales reconciliation process for the overseas branch, ensuring reconciliations of the policy production system with bank transactions and processing in the finance system.
Prepare regulatory reports related to sales accounting.
Communicate changes in sales accounting to relevant parties and verify data accuracy.
Lead and support reconciliation accountants in their duties.
Perform premium matchings reconciliation and address unreconciled differences.
Validate the Branch’s Trial Balance against Company records.
Meticulously reconcile and submit sales taxes.
Analyze and reconcile closing balances.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting and Finance or pursuing ACCA/AAT/CAT qualifications.
Minimum 4 years of experience in data reconciliation, preferably handling large spreadsheets and conducting detailed analysis.
Proficiency in Excel, including PIVOT tables; familiarity with Python or Microsoft BI is advantageous.
Experience in managing teams and using accounting software.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to meet deadlines.
Excellent problem-solving skills and meticulous attention to detail.
Effective communication skills in English; knowledge of Greek and/or Romanian is a plus.
Adaptable mindset, proactive approach to problem-solving, and strong teamwork abilities.
