On behalf of our client, a modern, innovative, and transformative insurance company, we are seeking an enthusiastic and driven Financial Analyst based in Nicosia, Cyprus.

Financial Analyst – Ref. 5652/FA/ESS/CY

Main Responsibilities:

Reconcile outputs from the policy production system to the bank and process transactions in the finance system.
Ensure the accuracy and completeness of financial reports.
Process and post refunds and cancellations.
Analyze and reconcile closing balances.
Reconcile sales taxes.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting and Finance or LCCI Higher in Accounting (pursuing ACCA/AAT/CAT qualifications is optional).
Minimum 2 years of relevant experience.
Proficiency in computer skills, particularly Excel and PIVOT tables; experience with Python or Microsoft BI is an advantage.
Experience in data reconciliation for accounting purposes, handling large spreadsheets, and detailed analysis.
Strong organizational skills and ability to work within deadlines.
Demonstrated problem-solving skills and good communication skills; knowledge of Greek and/or Romanian is an advantage.
Adaptable mindset, proactive problem-solving approach, positive attitude, strong teamwork skills, dedication to excellence, and commitment to meeting deadlines.
Meticulous attention to detail and strong multitasking abilities.
Experience with big data reconciliation, receivables with sales invoices, bank reconciliations, processing discrepancies or complex transactions, and use of accounting software.
Experience in e-commerce, insurance, services, or technology industries is preferred.
