Job Summary: The Production Process Engineer is responsible for overseeing and optimizing the injection molding processes to ensure efficient production of high-quality components. This role involves managing shift operations, analyzing and reducing rejections, handling manpower, and improving Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE).

Key Responsibilities:

Injection Molding Process Knowledge:
- Oversee the setup, operation, and troubleshooting of injection molding machines.
- Ensure optimal process parameters are set to achieve high-quality production.
Shift Incharge:
- Manage and supervise production activities during assigned shifts.
- Ensure smooth shift transitions and continuity of operations.
Rejection Analysis:
- Analyze rejection data to identify root causes of defects.
- Develop and implement corrective actions to reduce rejection rates.
In-House Rejection Reduction:
- Implement strategies to minimize in-house rejections and improve product quality.
- Monitor and report on rejection trends and improvements.
Manpower Handling:
- Manage and allocate manpower effectively to meet production targets.
- Provide training and guidance to production staff on best practices and safety protocols.
Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE):
- Monitor and analyze OEE to identify areas for improvement.
- Implement initiatives to enhance equipment performance, reduce downtime, and increase productivity.

Qualifications:

Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in production engineering within the injection moulding industry.
Strong knowledge of injection moulding processes and machinery.
Proven experience in managing shift operations and handling manpower.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Proficiency in using production management and quality control tools.
Strong communication and leadership skills.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
