Key Account Manager (5665/KAM/ESS/GR)

Position Summary:
The Key Account Manager will be responsible for managing and growing a portfolio of major clients in the retail sector, specifically targeting supermarket chains, entertainment and technology stores. This role involves developing trust-based relationships, executing strategic sales plans, managing orders and inventory, and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain strong, trust-based relationships with key clients.
Act as the primary point of contact for major clients, ensuring a win-win relationship.
Manage an existing portfolio of major clients, focusing on supermarket chains and entertainment and technology stores.
Conduct regular sales visits and business reviews with clients to ensure satisfaction and identify growth opportunities.
Develop and implement strategic sales plans tailored to each key account.
Monitor sales performance and adjust strategies as needed to meet or exceed targets.
Oversee the planning and coordination of orders and deliveries.
Manage inventory levels to prevent shortages and overstock situations, ensuring optimal stock levels.
Implement sales promotion plans and execute promotional activities to boost sales and enhance product visibility in the market.
Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and deploy effective in store marketing activities.
Provide exceptional customer service and manage client complaints effectively.
Monitor and manage customer balances in line with the company’s commercial policy.
Conduct market research and analyze competition to identify opportunities and threats.
Perform category analysis to support the development of targeted sales strategies.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or a related field.
Proven experience as an Account Manager or Key Account Manager or similar role within the FMCG or the retail sector.
Strong understanding of sales and trade marketing principles, with a focus on retail.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to analyze market trends and develop effective sales strategies.
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Availability for daily sales visits within the Attica region.
