Challenges you would face

Lead the end-to-end development of life-saving products within a dynamic engineering team
Develop and enhance the emergency 911 ecosystem, ensuring rapid response capabilities under high-demand scenarios
Implement fault-tolerant, self-healing functionalities to achieve highly resilient services
Expand solutions globally to ensure fast and effective emergency services access worldwide
Address public safety challenges through innovative machine learning techniques to enhance real-time video and audio analysis

The ideal candidate

Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
Minimum of 4 years of experience in Backend Development with a focus on microservices
Proficiency in modern Frontend Development; significant experience with Angular 13+ is highly advantageous
Demonstrated experience in building sophisticated web applications
Expertise in cloud-based development environments, preferably AWS
Proficient in creating RESTful APIs and familiar with WebSockets
Experience with both NoSQL and SQL databases

Plus

Scala experience is a plus
Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive work ethic
Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
Experience in designing and implementing microservices in cloud environments
Familiarity with AWS DynamoDB and other AWS services
