Vice President of Operations (Automotive Parts)

Responsibilities:

Translate Executive Strategies into Departmental KPIs: Develop and implement key performance indicators (KPIs) aligned with top management’s strategic goals across all departments.
Oversee Operational Efficiency: Lead and manage daily operations within the production, logistics, and maintenance departments, ensuring seamless workflow and adherence to standards.
Budget Management: Accurately forecast, allocate, and control the monthly, quarterly, and annual production budgets, ensuring financial objectives are met.
Enhance Operational Performance: Actively drive improvements in operational metrics, including on-time delivery, defect rates, customer claims, inventory valuation, Mean Time Between Failures (MTBF), and Mean Time to Repair (MTTR).
Cross-functional Collaboration: Coordinate with and support other departments to ensure cohesive operations and the successful execution of company-wide initiatives.
Team Leadership and Development: Mentor and guide the operations team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement in both processes and personal skill development.
Talent Acquisition and Development: Lead the recruitment, coaching, and professional development of operations managers and engineers, building a high-performing team committed to excellence.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in engineering
Master’s degree in engineering or management is a plus
At least 10 years of experience in production preferably in automotive
Ability to set overall strategy and drive process improvement
Proven track record as a team leader with an understanding of management practices
Strong analytical skills and ability to translate data into actionable insights.
Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
Fluency in English
