Job Responsibilities:

Perform routine maintenance and repair on diesel engines and commercial vehicles.
Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults in diesel vehicles.
Repair or replace faulty components and systems, including brakes, transmissions, and fuel systems.
Conduct test runs to ensure proper vehicle functionality.
Maintain accurate records of repairs and maintenance services performed.
Ensure all work is completed in compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
Keep up to date with the latest industry practices and technologies related to diesel mechanics.

Essential Qualifications:

Proven experience as a diesel motor mechanic.
Strong understanding of diesel engines, including their systems and components.
Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
Competence in using diagnostic tools and equipment for troubleshooting purposes.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Desired Experience:

Minimum of 3 years of practical experience as a diesel motor mechanic, specifically in commercial or heavy transport settings.
