*Hybrid role with 1-2 days a week in Fort Lauderdale.

Qualifications:

4+ years experience post law school (ABA accredited);
Prior in-house experience preferred;
Sound understanding and knowledge of commercial and corporate law;
Excellent negotiating and drafting skills;
International hospitality industry experience (ex cruises, travel, hotels, etc.) preferred;
Strong communication and presentation skills;
The ability to build and maintain strong professional relationships across the business;
The ability to communicate complex legal issues and risks in terms that non-legal colleagues can understand;
The ability to work in a highly autonomous role.

Responsibilities:

Negotiate, review and draft contracts;
Offer legal counsel of a variety of U.S., international, and hospitality laws;
Managing and mitigating legal risks by designing and implementing company policies and procedures;
Ensuring compliance with all laws and regulations that apply to the business;
Assisting in the development, implementation, and maintenance of our privacy program in accordance with applicable privacy laws and regulations, including the California Consumer Privacy Act and the General Data Protection Regulation;
Promoting legal, compliance and risk management best practice throughout the company;
Communicating with and managing any third-party bodies such as external counsel or auditors;
Designing and delivering legal training to the business;
Support and implement contracting strategies for new product launches;
Staying up-to-date with changes to legislation, particularly in relation to laws, rules and regulations that directly affect your business and specific industry;
Liaising with senior members of the organization.
