What You Will Do

The Quality Control Specialist will be responsible for reviewing quality control reports and monitoring production schedules. They will track purchase orders, coordinate with suppliers and logistics partners, and ensure timely delivery of products. The Quality Control Specialist partners with quality control teams in China, so their work hours must align with this time zone. This role is crucial in maintaining the smooth operation of our supply chain and ensuring that our customers receive their orders on time.

Responsiblilites:

Review and analyze Quality Control (QC) reports from suppliers to ensure products meet company standards.
Communicate with suppliers regarding any quality issues and work towards resolution.
Ensure that all quality control issues are documented and addressed prior to product release.
Monitor production schedule and timelines.
Manage and report raw material and components inventory levels.
Communicate with internal and external partners about production status and updates.
Monitor and track all purchase orders from issuance to delivery.
Communicate with suppliers to confirm receipt of purchase orders and to provide updates on the status.
Ensure accuracy of purchase order details, including quantities, prices, and delivery dates.
Resolve any issues or discrepancies related to purchase orders, including delays or shortages.
Monitor shipping schedules and ensure that products are delivered on time and work with logistics partners to schedule and track shipments.
Generate and maintain reports on purchase order status, delivery times, supplier performance, and QC issues.

Qualifications:

2+ years of experience in a supply chain, procurement, or logistics role.
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field, preferred.
Experience in reviewing Quality Control (QC) reports is a strong plus.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
Experience with supply chain management software or ERP systems is highly desirable.
Ability to speak and understand Mandarin, a plus.
Willingness to work hours that align with QC and production schedules in China.
