Salary Range: $90,000.00 - $150,000.00

Requirements:

2+ years experience as a Project Manager in the construction industry involving wet utilities, grading, paving, and underground work.
Certified Project Engineer is highly preferred.
Bachelor's degree in construction management, civil engineering, or related field, preferred.
Experience working on public sector projects in Nevada, preferred.
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

About the Role

The Project Manager will utilize their specialized knowledge in utilities, grading, paving, and underground work to oversee various projects (including public works) in Las Vegas and Henderson. The ideal candidate will be experienced in the construction industry, possess strong leadership skills, and excel at managing project budgets, timelines, and quality standards.

Responsibilities

Oversee the full lifecycle of construction projects from initial planning and design through completion, ensuring all projects are executed in line with client specifications, budgets, and timelines.
Manage utility installations and underground work in adherence to local regulations and safety standards.
Oversee all grading and paving with a focus on quality control and project specifications.
Lead public works projects and ensure compliance with government regulations, permits, and public safety standards.
Prepare project budgets in detail including labor, materials, and equipment.
Monitor project budgets and make necessary adjustments to keep the project on schedule.
Create and maintain project schedules to meet milestones and minimize delays.
Coordinate and collaborate with subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure timely execution of projects.
Identify and mitigate risks and threats to project success including safety risks, delays, cost overruns, and compliance issues.
Lead, mentor, and manage project teams, including engineers, superintendents, foremen, and subcontractors.
Maintain detailed records and documentation for permits, inspections, contracts, and change orders.
Conduct regular site inspections.
Implement and monitor safety programs in compliance with OSHA and internal safety policy.

Candidate Requirements

Experience managing small to medium sized projects including public, utilities, grading, and underground work.
Experience working with NDOT, local municipalities, or other public agencies.
Proficient with construction management software such as Heavy Bid
Understanding of federal, state, and local building codes, regulations, and permitting processes, particularly in Nevada.
