Clean Skin Club is disrupting the hygienic skincare market with their innovative products, including their original Clean Towels, which are disposable, compostable face towels. The company's mission is to provide innovative beauty products that are based on science and work to improve skin health. Each product has gone through rigorous testing and clinical validation and is designed to deliver top-tier quality and results that speak for themselves.

What You Will Do

You will play a key role in maintaining accurate financial records, preparing reports, and supporting day-to-day accounting operations. You'll be responsible for tasks like reconciling accounts, processing invoices, and assisting with month-end and year-end closing procedures. In this role, you'll contribute to financial forecasting, ensure compliance with accounting standards, and help drive the company’s financial accuracy and efficiency. This position offers the opportunity to work closely with various departments and provide valuable insights for decision-making and planning.

Responsibilities:

Process invoices, verify financial data, prepare payments, and manage customer accounts to ensure timely collections.
Reconcile invoices from customers.
Assist with the month-end and year-end closing process, including preparing journal entries, reconciling accounts, and ensuring all financial data is accurate and up-to-date.
Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting principles.
Support the preparation of financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
Aid in preparing financial forecasts.
Identify and implement process improvements in the accounting workflow to increase efficiency and accuracy.
Ensure compliance with financial policies and regulations, preparing reports as required by governing bodies or internal policies.
Assist with the preparation of tax filings and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax laws.
Reconcile bank statements, identify discrepancies, and ensure all transactions are properly recorded in the accounting system.

Qualifications:

3+ years of accounting experience.
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field, preferred.
Strong proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets, with the ability to manipulate data and create reports.
Solid understanding of GAAP and US accounting principles and practices.
Experience with eCommerce platforms (e.g., Amazon) is strongly preferred.
Familiarity with ERP systems is a plus.
Previous experience in direct-to-consumer businesses is highly valued.
