Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

Coordinate activities by scheduling work assignments, setting priorities, and directing the work of team members.
Manage production schedules to meet deadlines and achieve production goals.
Identify staff development and training needs and ensure those needs are met.
Prepare and present reports on production performance, progress against targets, and issue resolution.
Analyze production data to inform decisions and recommendations.
Handle special orders or customized requests as needed.
Identify opportunities for process improvements to enhance efficiency and productivity.
Respond to client calls and emails for quotes and updates on surveys.
Process new and existing orders and prepare field packages.
Invoice clients and distribute surveys, collecting payment as needed.
Maintain communication with accounting on payments owed.
Keep open communication with staff, drafting teams, and clients regarding the status of open jobs.
Maintain a weekly status list and manage client information in the database.
Communicate with field crews throughout the day to stay updated on project status.
Assist with invoicing and back up the duties of the Technical Field Operations Manager as needed.

Job Requirements:

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

Experience in construction or land surveying is a plus.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality work.
Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with strong data entry skills. Experience with Sage is a plus.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with demonstrated ability to juggle multiple tasks and demands.

Education & Experience:

At least three years of experience in a supervisory or management role.
Ability to maintain a flexible work schedule.
High School Diploma or equivalent is required; additional education is a plus.
