ICAP Executive Search, on behalf of its client, an established and expanding Audit and Advisory firm, is seeking to recruit an ambitious and driven individual for the position of Senior Tax Specialist, with a base in Larnaca, Cyprus.

Senior Tax Specialist (Ref. code: 5730/STS/ESS/CY)

Duties and Responsibilities:

Deliver a full range of direct tax services in compliance with laws and regulations within a timeframe.
Preparation of tax advice, tax planning on proposed structures and preparation of Tax rulings and objections.
Dealing with various tax matters including calculation of income taxes, deemed dividends, income tax registration/deregistration.
Build relationships and interact with clients to provide excellent planning, consulting, and expertise in tax related matters.
Review Company’s income tax calculations for clients doing business in various industries.
Directly liaising with tax authorities, maintaining open communication, and managing all tax-related interactions.
Collaborating effectively within teams, overseeing and delegating tasks to junior staff, and cooperating closely with senior team members.
Keeping up to date with all developments in the field of direct taxation.

Candidate Profile:

Degree in Accounting, Finance, or any other relevant field.
At least 3-5 years of working experience in a relevant position.
Professional Qualification (ACA or ACCA).
Knowledge of Transfer Pricing and IP law.
Excellent knowledge of the Greek and the English language (both verbal and written).
Ability to cooperate effectively with multiple teams.
Adaptability, attention to detail and meticulous approach to tax calculations and documentation, ensuring precision and accuracy in all deliverables.
Sharp critical thinking and strong time management skills.
