ICAP Executive Search & Selection, on behalf of our client, a forward thinking and dynamic Group of Companies, is seeking to recruit an ambitious Engineer to step into an exciting role as a Procurement Officer. Procurement Officer – Ref 5733/PO/ESS/CY

Duties & Responsibilities:

Oversee and manage supply chain operations, including the procurement of both direct and indirect materials.
Ensure timely, cost-effective purchasing to meet production and manufacturing planning requirements.
Negotiate and manage contracts with suppliers to optimize terms and build long-term relationships.
Conduct commercial and technical evaluations of suppliers to ensure quality, cost-effectiveness, and reliability.
Review and enhance existing vendor relationships, identifying opportunities for savings and operational improvements.
Prepare and submit tenders, ensuring accuracy and competitiveness in proposals.
Secure approvals on purchase orders within set deadlines to maintain efficient workflow.

Requirements:

Engineering Degree (preferably in Engineering, Architecture, Supply Chain, or Logistics).
Previous experience in Building Services and interior fit-out projects gives you an edge.
AutoCAD and Excel skills to help manage technical and logistical data.
Bilingual in Greek and English, with excellent communication abilities.
Strong in negotiating contracts and managing procurement processes like a pro.
A natural multitasker, with great time management and a team player attitude.
You are detail-oriented, organized, and always looking for ways to improve and grow.
You take ownership of your role, showing initiative, accountability, and integrity.
