Senior Frontend/UI/UX Developer

We’re looking for a skilled Frontend/UI/UX Developer to lead the development of our frontend for a state-of-the-art vision-based movement analysis system. You’ll be working on a high-performance application that uses high-speed, high-resolution cameras to capture and analyse movement. This role isn’t just about coding—it’s about creating a smooth, intuitive experience for users and coaches, taking on some challenging and rewarding tasks along the way.

Your Tasks Would Include:

Working closely with UI/UX designers to translate wireframes, prototypes, and design specs into functional user interfaces
Providing feedback on design proposals to ensure feasibility and the best possible user experience
Developing and maintaining complex React applications, ensuring high performance, responsiveness, and maintainability.
Managing seamless data flow of high-resolution video and other data between frontend components and backend services
Conducting code reviews to maintain high standards and best practices
Implementing adaptive design techniques for an optimal experience across devices

Work well independently, delivering high-quality, efficient solutions
Communicate technical decisions and trade-offs clearly

Experience & Skill Requirements:

Solid front-end development experience
Strong knowledge of React and TypeScript
Experience with Next.js and database development
Proficiency in modern CSS techniques with a focus on accessibility

Bonus Points for Experience With:

React Native
Supabase
WebAssembly
Visualisation tools like Three.js
Python
Technical leadership and mentoring junior developers
