National Account Manager - Walmart

About the Role: As a National Account Manager for Walmart, you will play a pivotal role in driving sales, profitability, and market share for our company. You will be responsible for managing and growing our business with Walmart, building strong relationships with key decision-makers, and executing strategic initiatives to achieve our goals.

Key Responsibilities:

Account Strategy: Develop and implement comprehensive account strategies aligned with Walmart's business objectives and our company's goals.
Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers at Walmart, including buyers, category managers, and executives.
Sales Planning and Forecasting: Develop accurate sales forecasts and annual operating plans. Analyze sales data to identify trends and opportunities.
Category Management: Collaborate with Walmart category teams to optimize product assortment, pricing, and promotions.
New Product Launches: Manage the launch of new products, including coordinating with cross-functional teams to ensure timely execution.
Trade Marketing: Develop and execute effective trade marketing programs to drive sales and brand awareness.
Problem-Solving: Identify and resolve issues and challenges that arise with Walmart, ensuring timely and effective solutions.
Reporting and Analysis: Provide regular reports on sales performance, market share, and key performance indicators.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
5+ years of experience in sales, account management, or category management, preferably in the CPG industry.
Proven track record of success in managing and growing national accounts.
Strong understanding of the retail industry, particularly Walmart's business model and operations.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel and PowerPoint.
Ability to travel as needed.
