As a Category Manager for Walmart, you will play a crucial role in driving sales, profitability, and market share for our company. You will be responsible for managing specific product categories, optimizing product assortment, and executing effective merchandising and promotional strategies to meet Walmart's needs and consumer preferences.

Key Responsibilities:

Category Strategy: Develop and implement category strategies aligned with Walmart's business objectives and our company's goals.
Assortment Optimization: Manage the product assortment to maximize sales and profitability, ensuring optimal product mix and inventory levels.
Pricing and Promotion: Develop and execute effective pricing and promotional strategies to drive sales and market share.
New Product Development: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and launch new products that meet Walmart's needs and consumer preferences.
Sales Forecasting and Planning: Develop accurate sales forecasts and annual operating plans.
Financial Performance: Drive sales growth, margin expansion, and overall financial performance for the assigned categories.
Data Analysis and Insights: Analyze sales data and market trends to identify opportunities and challenges.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with sales, marketing, operations, and supply chain teams to ensure seamless execution of category strategies.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
5+ years of experience in category management, preferably in the CPG industry.
Strong understanding of the retail industry, particularly Walmart's business model and category management practices.
Proven track record of success in driving sales and profitability.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication and presentation skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel and PowerPoint.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
