Job Description: Head of Compensation & Benefits

Position Overview

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Head of Compensation & Benefits to lead our rewards team. This is a full-time position based in Cape Town, South Africa. The ideal candidate will have a robust background in rewards strategy and policy development, particularly in the BPO and call centre sectors.

Job Responsibilities

Design, maintain, and update Compensation & Benefits policies and ensure effective communication of these policies to employees.
Partner with the Global Rewards team to develop monthly and quarterly dashboards and analysis of compensation and benefits metrics.
Collaborate with the finance team on budgeting and pricing of jobs to ensure competitive compensation structures.
Manage data processes as required by internal and external sources, including resolving data errors and partnering with HR shared services as necessary.
Prepare comprehensive reports and analyses of compensation data, and partner with HR Business Partners and management to review findings and provide actionable recommendations.
Work closely with other HR team members and functional areas to investigate and resolve escalated employee issues related to compensation and benefits.

Essential Qualifications

A bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field; a Master's degree or professional certification is preferred.
Minimum of 5 years and a maximum of 20 years of relevant experience in compensation and benefits role, preferably within a BPO or call centre environment.

Desired Experience

Proven experience leading compensation and benefits programs at an organizational level.
Strong understanding of HR policies and procedures with a focus on benefits and compensation planning.
Ability to design and implement effective communication strategies for compensation and benefits policies.
Experience in managing data processes and working with shared HR services for compensation-related tasks.
