An exciting opportunity has arisen for a talented Chef de Partie to join the award-winning kitchen at one of North Yorkshire's leading country estates.

Home to a 2 AA Rosette restaurant and a 5 AA Gold Star country retreat, this stunning destination is renowned for its estate-to-plate philosophy, creating Mediterranean-inspired seasonal menus using exceptional produce harvested from its own kitchen gardens alongside the very best local suppliers.

This is an ideal opportunity for an ambitious Chef de Partie looking to develop within a quality-driven kitchen that genuinely invests in its people.

The Venue

Set within the beautiful North Yorkshire countryside, this luxury estate offers relaxed yet refined dining in a stunning restaurant with rooms. Sustainability, seasonality and exceptional ingredients sit at the heart of every menu, with much of the produce coming directly from the estate's own kitchen gardens.

You'll be joining a supportive, well-structured brigade where teamwork, training and progression are genuinely encouraged, making it an outstanding environment for chefs looking to continue developing their careers.

The Role

Working alongside the Head Chef and senior kitchen team, you'll take ownership of your section while helping deliver consistently outstanding food throughout every service.

Your responsibilities will include:

Running your section confidently during service
Preparing and cooking high-quality seasonal dishes
Working with exceptional produce from the estate's kitchen gardens and trusted local suppliers
Maintaining excellent food quality, consistency and presentation
Assisting with stock control and minimising waste
Supporting junior members of the brigade where required
Maintaining the highest standards of food safety and hygiene
Ensuring your section remains clean, organised and service ready at all times

Up to £33,500 salary
Generous share of tips
48 hours over four days (4 days on / 3 days off)

The Ideal Candidate

We're looking for someone who has:

Previous experience as a Chef de Partie within a quality fresh-food kitchen
Experience working to at least 2 AA Rosette standard
Confidence running all sections within a busy service
A passion for seasonal, Mediterranean-inspired cooking
Level 2 Food Hygiene certification
Excellent organisation and communication skills
A positive, hardworking attitude and genuine desire to learn and progress
