What You Will Do

The Director of Foodservice will lead the growth of BeanVIVO’s foodservice business. You will leverage your foodservice experience to launch and grow business within different channels like restaurant chains, catering, hospitality, c-stores and industrial. Having a strong track record of sales execution in foodservice, you demonstrate the ability to both initiate and finalize deals successfully. You thrive in a self-directed environment, demonstrating proactive and forward-thinking behavior without the need for constant oversight.

Responsibilities

Work with the CEO to develop a strategic growth plan for the foodservice channel and successfully execute it.
Manage, negotiate, and execute contracts and programs across multiple channels within the foodservice channel.
Manage broker partners.
Develop and maintain a rolling forecast.
Build and manage relationships with distributors to effectively build the BeanVIVO brand within the foodservice marketplace.
Prepare effective sales presentations based on sound data analysis.

You have a track record of driving substantial growth and expanding market presence in the foodservice channel.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree.
7 + years of sales experience required.
Experience in the CPG food industry in the foodservice channel is required.
Proven experience calling on foodservice channels like restaurants, stadiums, colleges/universities, hospitality and/or convenience stores with a track record of strong results.
Experience working with foodservice distributors like Sysco, PFG, DOT, US Foods, GFS.
Comfortable with ambiguity, learning on the fly, and adapting quickly to change.
Ability to work with little to no supervision. Not afraid of wearing different hats in a startup atmosphere.
Tech-savvy, with extensive knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
Highly organized and able to work well under stress.
Strong analytical skills, detail-oriented and trustworthy.
Great communication skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to travel when needed (upwards of 70%).
Past experience working in a privately held, entrepreneurial company or startup environment is a plus.
