What You Will Do

The Vice President of National Sales is responsible for achieving the revenue, velocity, distribution, and profitability targets across all sales channels in the US including, but not limited to: Natural Channel, Conventional Channel, and Food Service and Alternative Channels.

Responsiblities:

DSD Sourcing, On-Boarding and Distributor Management
Leveraging existing relationships with strategic retail accounts for market penetration
Managing and Motivation Broker
Driving Velocity in Existing and New EUB accounts
Analyzing data, reporting results frequently, and optimizing quickly
Retail pricing, promotional, and marketing strategies
Shipment data
Distributor portal data and depletion reports
Broker Dashboards
Merchandising execution
Marketing Team PartnershipTeam Leadership and Management

Who You Are

The ideal candidate will bring extensive experience in the functional beverage category and will possess proven experience and reliable relationships within Direct-Sales-Distribution networks (DSD), Broadline Distributor networks, and Foodservice Distributor networks. In addition, the ideal candidate should have experience implementing a hybrid “go-to-market” strategy consisting of DSD, Broadline, and Direct sales. The candidate should have strong financial and analytical skills and must be well-versed in SPINS and /or Nielsen data, KeHE / UNFI portal data, sales reporting, forecasting, promotional planning, and customer profitability.

Qualifications:

15+ years of experience strategically scaling a premium, functional beverage brand.
Data-driven selling experience and expert ability to understand and analyze sales performance metrics.
Successful track record leading sales within a high-growth environment that meets or exceeds sales targets on a year-over-year basis.
Eager to roll up their sleeves and hit the ground running in the trade.
Excellent communicator who can express ideas clearly and concisely. Ability to adapt style to the audience with effective active listening skills.
Above average fluency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Word.
Ability and desire to travel 20%-40%
Current and valid driver’s license and access to a personal vehicle with the ability to travel frequently.
Ability to lift 50+ lbs. repetitively during the shift, and to push and pull up to 100 lbs. during shift.
