ICAP Executive Search, on behalf of its client, an established and expanding Audit and Advisory firm, is seeking to recruit an ambitious and driven individual for the position of Accountant, with a base in Larnaca, Cyprus.

Accountant (Ref. code: 5758/A/ESS/CY)

Duties and Responsibilities:

Prepare and manage financial statements, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
Reconcile accounts and resolve discrepancies in financial records.
Review and monitor accounting transactions and assist with month-end and year-end closing processes.
Maintain financial records in an accurate and organized manner.
Ensure timely tax filings and adherence to regulatory requirements.
Support the accounting team in day-to-day operations, reports and continuous improvement initiatives.

Candidate Profile:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
3 years of experience in a similar role with good knowledge of accounting principles
Proficiency in accounting software.
Fluency in Greek and English.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to meet deadlines and prioritize tasks effectively.
